GuanDu Elementary School didn’t have its own anthem until 2005. To raise the team spirit on important occasions, President Biao-Lin Li encouraged the students to write the lyrics. Within one month, submissions piled up to more than ninety. After a public voting, Pei-Ru Tsai, the 6th grader, won the best version of lyric in the selection. Ms. Wei-Sheng Dai, a music teacher, finished the melody. Thus Guan-Du has the very first school anthem. Nowadays, it is heard before the school bell of each period to remind students of getting ready to enter classrooms.
